The Toy Guyz just went to a wonderful cookout yesterday for Memorial Day. We thought it would only be fitting to review the Grill Set by Melissa & Doug in honor of all great cookouts that we hope everyone will experience this Summer.
One of the great things about the Grill Set by Melissa & Doug is that it appeals a little more to the boys because Dads are typically in charge of the grilling duties. No offense to all of the great grillin' Moms out there. It's fun to watch your kid try to be a "grill master" with this wonderful set. It's designed very well with the wooden box as the base with printed coals on the inside. A clear plastic sheet that looks like the top of the grill easily slides in over the top of the base giving it a 3-D grill effect. Your little chef can create three kabobs by loading the skewers with shrimp, mushrooms, meat, onions, tomatoes and pepper peices. All of the peices are wooden. The Grill Set also comes with a wooden knife and tongs. The Toy Guyz only have one issue with the Grill Set. The wooden skewers are basically two wooden sticks. Please make sure that children do not run with the skewers or put them in their mouth. Other than that it's just a great play food set. It's also a great travel toy because everything fits in the box. Take the Grill Set by Melissa & Doug to your next picnic and watch the kids grill up their own fun!
