The Critter Carnival by Insect Lore just came in today at Pure Imagination. Of course, the Toy Guyz had to open one up immediately and check it out. We give it an A+ for originality. Inside the Critter Carnival is a slide, swing, maze, tightrope, Ferris wheel and teeter totter. There is a magnifier at the top of the plastic dome so you can see things really close. It's a super cute observation habitat for about any small insect. We were most impressed with how sensitive the different rides were in motion. Smaller bugs are pretty lightweight so we thought that you might actually catch some movement with the little attractions if they decided to check them out. The overall construction is done pretty well. The Toy Guyz had only one concern. The plastic dome does come off a little more easily than expected. Make sure to tell kids to be careful with the dome piece. You don't want bugs escaping the Critter Carnival when there are so many fun things to do inside. So what's the verdict? The Critter Carnival by Insect Lore gets a 9 out of 10 star rating from the Toy Guyz.
